No. 1143 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure 1-3 in commending James Rose of Bryan, Texas, for his exceptional 1-4 contributions to the Bryan Independent School District; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Mr. Rose is retiring as special services 1-6 administrator after 24 years of devoted service to the district; 1-7 and 1-8 WHEREAS, The esteemed educator has dedicated his 1-9 professional life to providing an excellent educational environment 1-10 for the children in the community; and 1-11 WHEREAS, His notable work and professional knowledge have 1-12 earned him the respect and admiration of students and teachers as 1-13 well as those who work closely with him; and 1-14 WHEREAS, The schoolchildren of the State of Texas have 1-15 benefitted immeasurably from the wisdom and expertise of this 1-16 outstanding administrator who has conscientiously discharged his 1-17 duties in an exemplary manner and he will surely be missed; now, 1-18 therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-20 73rd Legislature, hereby express its deep appreciation to James Rose 1-21 and extend best wishes to him for a most enjoyable and rewarding 1-22 retirement; and, be it further 1-23 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-1 Mr. Rose as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate. 2-2 _____________________________________ 2-3 President of the Senate 2-4 I hereby certify that the 2-5 above Resolution was adopted by 2-6 the Senate on May 28, 1993. 2-7 _____________________________________ 2-8 Secretary of the Senate 2-9 _____________________________________ 2-10 Member, Texas Senate
