No. 1166 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in 1-3 recognizing Claire Hansen, of the well-known Hansen quadruplets, 1-4 on the auspicious occasion of her graduation from Robert E. Lee 1-5 High School in San Antonio, Texas; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Talented and hardworking, Claire has been an 1-7 outstanding student and her diploma is well deserved; and 1-8 WHEREAS, She has distinguished herself throughout her 1-9 years in high school, excelling as a scholar and as a leader 1-10 in her class; she has been a member of the National Honor Society, 1-11 the National Spanish Honor Society, and the Talented and Gifted 1-12 Identification Program of Duke University; and 1-13 WHEREAS, An exemplary young woman who is an active volunteer 1-14 in the San Antonio community, Claire Hansen clearly establishes 1-15 her goals and pursues them with perseverance and enthusiasm; and 1-16 WHEREAS, She and her sisters are accomplished, generous, 1-17 and caring individuals whose exceptional achievements are 1-18 inspirational to us all; now, therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-20 73rd Legislature, hereby congratulate Claire Hansen for her 1-21 successful years in high school and extend best wishes to her 1-22 for the future; and, be it further 1-23 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared 2-1 for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. 2-2 _____________________________________ 2-3 President of the Senate 2-4 I hereby certify that the 2-5 above Resolution was adopted by 2-6 the Senate on May 30, 1993. 2-7 _____________________________________ 2-8 Secretary of the Senate 2-9 _____________________________________ 2-10 Member, Texas Senate
