    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in
    1-3  recognizing Darcy Hansen, of the well-known Hansen quadruplets,
    1-4  on the auspicious occasion of her graduation from Robert E. Lee
    1-5  High School in San Antonio, Texas; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Talented and hardworking, Darcy has been an
    1-7  outstanding student and her diploma is well deserved; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, She has distinguished herself throughout her years
    1-9  in high school, excelling as a scholar and as a leader in her
   1-10  class; she has been a member of the National Honor Society, the
   1-11  National Spanish Honor Society, and the Talented and Gifted
   1-12  Identification Program of Duke University; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, An exemplary young woman who is an active volunteer
   1-14  in the San Antonio community, Darcy Hansen clearly establishes her
   1-15  goals and pursues them with perseverance and enthusiasm; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, She and her sisters are accomplished, generous, and
   1-17  caring individuals whose exceptional achievements are inspirational
   1-18  to us all; now, therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  73rd Legislature, hereby congratulate Darcy Hansen for her
   1-21  successful years in high school and extend best wishes to her
   1-22  for the future; and, be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-1  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
