    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                            Brison Hearron
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins with the
    1-6  citizens of Fairfield and Freestone County in mourning the untimely
    1-7  loss of Brison Hearron who died May 9, 1993, at the age of 18; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Brison was a senior at Fairfield High School
    1-9  where he played varsity football for the Fairfield Eagles, earning
   1-10  All-District honorable mention notice in 1992 as a wide receiver
   1-11  and defensive back; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Active in many facets of campus life, Brison also
   1-13  competed on the varsity track team, was a member of the school band,
   1-14  and performed in University Interscholastic League one-act play
   1-15  competition; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Brison was a talented and popular student who was
   1-17  beloved by his classmates and teachers at Fairfield High School; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, A young man of courage, strength, and commitment,
   1-19  Brison refused to allow his asthmatic condition to hamper his
   1-20  participation in school events; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, Brison was intelligent and warmhearted and will
   1-22  long be remembered for his engaging personality, his wisdom, and
   1-23  his sense of humor; and
    2-1        WHEREAS, Respected in the school and in the community for
    2-2  his many accomplishments, Brison was an exemplary individual who
    2-3  gave unselfishly of his time to others and who was devoted to his
    2-4  parents, sisters, and brother; and
    2-5        WHEREAS, A source of pride and joy to many, Brison lived his
    2-6  life to the fullest and he leaves behind memories that will be
    2-7  treasured forever by his family and many friends; now, therefore,
    2-8  be it
    2-9        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   2-10  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
   2-11  bereaved family of Brison Hearron:  his mother, Pamela Hearron;
   2-12  his father, Brison Hearron, Jr.; his sisters, Tina Hearron and
   2-13  Ashley Washington; his brother, Aaron Washington; his grandmother,
   2-14  Frances Nemons; and his grandfather, Clinton Ward; and, be it
   2-15  further
   2-16        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   2-17  the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from
   2-18  the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do
   2-19  so in memory of Brison Hearron.
