1-6 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
    1-7 AN ACT
1-8 relating to certain insurance coverage available through the Texas
    1-9 Automobile Insurance Plan Association.
1-10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-11 SECTION 1. Section 4(c), Article 21.81, Insurance Code, is
   1-12 repealed.
1-13 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1995, and
1-14 applies only to an insurance policy delivered, issued for delivery,
1-15 or renewed after January 1, 1996. A policy delivered, issued for
1-16 delivery, or renewed before January 1, 1996, is governed by the law
1-17 as it existed immediately before the effective date of this Act,
1-18 and that law is continued in effect for that purpose.
1-19 SECTION 3. The importance of this legislation and the
1-20 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
1-21 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-22 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-23 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
