                                 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
    1-1                                AN ACT
    1-2  relating to issuance of special license plates for a forestry
    1-3  vehicle.
    1-4        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
    1-5        SECTION 1.  Section 5p(a), Chapter 88, General Laws, Acts of
    1-6  the 41st Legislature, 2nd Called Session, 1929 (Article 6675a-5p,
    1-7  Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added by Chapter 534, Acts of
    1-8  the 73rd Legislature, 1993, is amended to read as follows:
    1-9        (a)  In this section, "forestry vehicle" means a vehicle used
   1-10  exclusively for transporting forest products in their natural
   1-11  state, including logs, debarked logs, untreated ties, stave bolts,
   1-12  plywood bolts, pulpwood billets, wood chips, stumps, sawdust, moss,
   1-13  bark, wood shavings, and property used in production of those
   1-14  products.
   1-15        SECTION 2.  The importance of this legislation and the
   1-16  crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
   1-17  emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
   1-18  constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
   1-19  days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended,
   1-20  and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its
   1-21  passage, and it is so enacted.
