                                 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
    1-1 AN ACT

1-4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-5 SECTION 1. The Texas Boxing and Wrestling Act (Article
1-6 8501-1, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes) is amended by adding Section
1-7 12 to read as follows:
1-8 Sec. 12. REVIEW OF DECISIONS RELATING TO BOXING
1-9 CHAMPIONSHIPS. An entity, including a national or international
1-10 boxing association, commission, or federation, that in any respect

1-13 championship title awarded by the entity without filing
1-14 notification of the entity's action with the department and
1-15 receiving the approval of the commissioner. A party aggrieved by
1-16 the decision of the commissioner may secure judicial review under

1-18 SECTION 2. The importance of this legislation and the

1-20 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-21 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-22 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended,
1-23 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its
