                              HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
    1-1        WHEREAS, House Bill No. 2766 has been adopted by the house of
    1-2  representatives and senate; and
    1-3        WHEREAS, The bill contains two grammatical errors that should
    1-4  be corrected; now, therefore, be it
    1-5        RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of
    1-6  representatives be hereby instructed to correct House Bill No. 2766
    1-7  in Sections 21.108(o)(1) and (2) to read as follows:
    1-8              (1)  a "group model health maintenance organization"
    1-9  that is a state-certified health maintenance organization that
   1-10  provides the majority of its professional services through a single
   1-11  group medical practice which educates medical students or resident
   1-12  physicians through a contract with the medical school component of
   1-13  a Texas state-supported college or university accredited by the
   1-14  Accrediting Council on Graduate Medical Education or the American
   1-15  Osteopathic Association; or
   1-16              (2)  a state-certified health maintenance organization
   1-17  that implements all credentialing, quality assurance, utilization
   1-18  review, and peer review policies through a physician network board
   1-19  of directors comprised exclusively of persons actively engaged in
   1-20  the practice of medicine as defined by the Texas State Board of
   1-21  Medical Examiners and educates medical students or resident
   1-22  physicians through a contract with the medical school component of
   1-23  a Texas state-supported college or university accredited by the
   1-24  Accrediting Council on Graduate Medical Education or the American
    2-1  Osteopathic Association.
