                                  A JOINT RESOLUTION
    1-1  proposing a constitutional amendment allowing investment of money
    1-2  from the Texas growth fund in a business without the business's
    1-3  disclosure of its investments in or with South Africa or Namibia.
    1-4        BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
    1-5        SECTION 1.  Article XVI, Section 70(r), of the Texas
    1-6  Constitution is repealed.
    1-7        SECTION 2.  This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
    1-8  submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 7, 1995.
    1-9  The ballot shall be printed to provide for voting for or against
   1-10  the proposition:  "The constitutional amendment allowing investment
   1-11  of money from the Texas growth fund in a business without the
   1-12  business's disclosure of its investments in or with South Africa or
   1-13  Namibia."
