                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, January 27, 1995, marks a significant milestone in
    1-2  the life of Almeda Conway, for on this day she will become the
    1-3  first female employee of EXXON Company worldwide to have achieved
    1-4  50 years of dedicated service as a valued employee of the company;
    1-5  and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Ms. Conway first began her employment with the
    1-7  company in 1944 as a mail handler and deliverer; she has been
    1-8  called on to perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the ensuing
    1-9  years and has always accomplished her duties with the same degree
   1-10  of integrity, attention to detail, and diligence that have
   1-11  characterized her career since the day she began her employment;
   1-12  and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Throughout her remarkable tenure, Almeda Conway has
   1-14  consistently demonstrated the highest standards of excellence and
   1-15  professionalism; having achieved her goal of 50 years of service
   1-16  with EXXON, Ms. Conway has chosen to retire, and, though her
   1-17  smiling presence and caring nature will be greatly missed, her many
   1-18  friends will take great pleasure in knowing that she is enjoying a
   1-19  happy and well-deserved retirement; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-21  Legislature hereby commend Almeda Conway on 50 years of exemplary
   1-22  service to EXXON Company, U.S.A., and extend warmest best wishes to
   1-23  her on the joyous occasion of her retirement; and, be it further
   1-24        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-1  prepared for Ms. Conway as an expression of high regard by the
    2-2  Texas House of Representatives.
