                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS,  Lanette Nolte has given 21 years of devoted service
    1-2  to the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and will be honored by her
    1-3  colleagues at a retirement party on January 22, 1995; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, A native of Montgomery County, she has lived in
    1-5  Ingleside since infancy and is a graduate of Ingleside High School;
    1-6  and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Instrumental in the chamber's handling of tourism
    1-8  matters, she has never wavered from her task of being ready to help
    1-9  anyone who needed assistance and, despite having limited funds and
   1-10  a small staff, has been able to accomplish all that has been asked
   1-11  of her; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mrs. Nolte's superior dedication to her
   1-13  responsibilities was formally acknowledged by her peers when she
   1-14  received the 1983 Texas Hospitality Award, a prestigious honor
   1-15  conferred by Texas tourism development agencies; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Throughout all of her professional endeavors, she
   1-17  has enjoyed the support of her husband, R. C. Nolte; the couple
   1-18  also take pride in the accomplishments of their daughter, Charlette
   1-19  Hagerdon, and find time to dote on their four-year-old grandson,
   1-20  Clay; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, Lanette Nolte has earned the respect and admiration
   1-22  of all who have had the privilege of working with her, and her
   1-23  untiring efforts in promoting tourism in her community are worthy
   1-24  of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
    2-1        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-2  Legislature hereby commend Lanette Nolte for her contributions to
    2-3  the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and extend to her best wishes
    2-4  for a happy and rewarding retirement; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for Mrs. Nolte as an expression of high regard by the
    2-7  Texas House of Representatives.
