                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, On January 31, 1995, Bill McCutchen will retire from
    1-2  his position as the county extension agent for Milam County, having
    1-3  served area citizens with integrity and distinction since 1971; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, This remarkable gentleman began his distinguished
    1-5  career more than three decades ago as an assistant to extension
    1-6  agents in Lynn and Eastland counties, and later earned a promotion
    1-7  to the post of Hamilton County extension agent before accepting his
    1-8  current position; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, For more than two decades, Mr. McCutchen has shared
   1-10  his considerable agricultural knowledge and expertise with farmers
   1-11  and ranchers in Milam County, earning their respect and
   1-12  appreciation for his sound, practical advice on livestock, crop,
   1-13  and horticultural production, in addition to other related
   1-14  disciplines; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, An active and valued member of the community as
   1-16  well, he also serves as an important resource person for local
   1-17  citizens and was recently recognized by the local 4-H Council for
   1-18  his exemplary work with area young people; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Throughout his outstanding tenure, this skilled
   1-20  professional has been honored with a number of well-deserved
   1-21  awards, including the Superior Service Award from the Texas
   1-22  Agricultural Extension Service and the Outstanding Agricultural
   1-23  Award from the Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce; and
   1-24        WHEREAS, An exceptionally hardworking, talented, and
    2-1  well-liked individual, Bill McCutchen has dedicated his career to
    2-2  the enrichment of our state's farming and ranching communities and,
    2-3  on this special occasion, he is indeed deserving of special praise
    2-4  and recognition for his significant contributions in this regard;
    2-5  now, therefore, be it
    2-6        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-7  Legislature hereby commend Bill McCutchen for his many years of
    2-8  notable service to the citizens of Milam County and extend to him
    2-9  sincere best wishes for a happy and rewarding retirement; and, be
   2-10  it further
   2-11        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   2-12  prepared for Mr. McCutchen as an expression of high regard by the
   2-13  Texas House of Representatives.
