                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The wedding anniversary of two outstanding Texans
    1-2  who have shared 50 happy and rewarding years of marriage is truly a
    1-3  memorable occasion worthy of special recognition; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Rayburn and Marie Richardson recently had the
    1-5  privilege of commemorating one such momentous event in their lives
    1-6  when they celebrated their golden anniversary on January 26, 1995;
    1-7  and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Since their marriage began, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson
    1-9  have made their home in East Texas, where they are exemplary
   1-10  members of the community, enriching not only their own lives but
   1-11  the lives of those around them with their devotion to each other;
   1-12  and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson are the proud parents of two
   1-14  fine children:  Lonnie Dean Richardson and Clayton Carroll
   1-15  Richardson, and their family has grown to include six grandchildren
   1-16  and two great-grandchildren; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, For 50 years, Rayburn and Marie Richardson have
   1-18  shared a strong and lasting union filled with many happy times and
   1-19  cherished family memories; built on a foundation of mutual love,
   1-20  trust, and support, their life together not only has exemplified
   1-21  the rewards that the enduring bond of matrimony can bring, but has
   1-22  been a source of joy and inspiration for the many friends and
   1-23  relatives of this fortunate couple; now, therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby congratulate Rayburn and Marie Richardson on the
    2-2  occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them
    2-3  sincere best wishes for continued joy and happiness; and, be it
    2-4  further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Richardson as an expression of high
    2-7  regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
