                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, February 25, 1995, will indeed be a special day for
    1-2  LaShun Evette Phillips and Dexter Dewayne Wesley, for on that day
    1-3  they will be united in marriage and begin their new life together
    1-4  as husband and wife; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The impending union of this devoted young couple has
    1-6  brought great joy to their parents; LaShun is the daughter of
    1-7  Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Phillips, while her fiance, Dexter, is the son
    1-8  of Annie Wesley and the late Charles C. Wesley; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Mr. Wesley and Ms. Phillips are both esteemed
   1-10  residents of the Rockdale area, where their relationship has grown
   1-11  in love, respect, and lasting regard for each other with each
   1-12  passing day; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The month of February, when romantics from all walks
   1-14  of life celebrate the holiday of love, is a fitting time to
   1-15  congratulate this fortunate couple on the joyous celebration of
   1-16  their marriage; now, therefore, be it
   1-17        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-18  Legislature hereby congratulate LaShun Evette Phillips and Dexter
   1-19  Dewayne Wesley on the happy occasion of their wedding and extend to
   1-20  them warmest best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together; and,
   1-21  be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   1-23  prepared for Mr. Wesley and Ms. Phillips as an expression of high
   1-24  regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
