                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The golden wedding anniversary of two outstanding
    1-2  Texans is truly a special occasion worthy of legislative
    1-3  recognition; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Teodoro and Anita Lara will celebrate 50 joyous and
    1-5  rewarding years of marriage on April 22, 1995,  commemorating their
    1-6  enduring partnership, which has served as a constant source of love
    1-7  and renewal throughout their lives together; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, This loving couple was joined in holy matrimony in a
    1-9  springtime ceremony that took place in the small rural community of
   1-10  Elgin on April 22, 1945, and in the years that have followed they
   1-11  have remained dedicated to each other as well as to the needs of
   1-12  their growing family; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The couple have been blessed with seven sons and
   1-14  four daughters, who have brought great happiness into their lives,
   1-15  and their tremendous pride in their family has continued to grow
   1-16  with the arrival of each of their 21 grandchildren through the
   1-17  years; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, For half a century, Teodoro and Anita Lara have
   1-19  enjoyed a warm and affectionate union filled with many happy times
   1-20  and cherished family memories; built on a solid foundation of love,
   1-21  trust, and support, their marriage has indeed been an inspiration
   1-22  to the many friends and relatives of this fortunate pair; now,
   1-23  therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby congratulate Teodoro and Anita Lara on the
    2-2  momentous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to
    2-3  them warmest best wishes for continued success and happiness in the
    2-4  years to come; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lara as an expression of high regard by
    2-7  the Texas House of Representatives.
