                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  the current class of the Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership
    1-3  (TALL) program on the occasion of its visit to the State Capitol on
    1-4  March 8, 1995; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Through this program, men and women train to become
    1-6  dynamic leaders in agribusiness and in doing so help to ensure that
    1-7  Texas will continue to be at the forefront of one of the nation's
    1-8  most vital industries; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Texas Agricultural Extension
   1-10  Service the program is currently instructing its fourth class of
   1-11  students on a wide range of topics, including marketing and
   1-12  consumer issues, international trade, technological advancements,
   1-13  environmental concerns, and governmental regulations; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Its innovative curriculum, which includes seminars,
   1-15  on-site tours, international studies, and meetings with leaders in
   1-16  government and the business community, helps students to enhance
   1-17  their communication and interpersonal skills so that they may
   1-18  become articulate and effective catalysts for change; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, The TALL program does an exceptional job of building
   1-20  a solid base of leadership for Texas agriculture during an era of
   1-21  immense challenge and change as we prepare to enter the new
   1-22  millennium; now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-24  Legislature hereby commend the Texas Agricultural Lifetime
    2-1  Leadership program for its outstanding efforts to educate the
    2-2  future leaders of our state and extend an official welcome to the
    2-3  visiting class of 1996; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-5  prepared for the class as an expression of high regard by the Texas
    2-6  House of Representatives.
