                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Wednesday, March 8, 1995, marked the golden wedding
    1-2  anniversary of Willard and Allyne "Beanie" Petrosky of Alief; and
    1-3        WHEREAS, Since their marriage in Sugar Land on March 8, 1945,
    1-4  to this present day, this native son of Alief and his bride from
    1-5  Sugar Land have repeatedly shown their community spirit through
    1-6  involvement in school and civic activities and have contributed
    1-7  their talents to and their care for the Alief area in amounts
    1-8  immeasurable, for which the community shall be forever in their
    1-9  debt; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, A former member of the board of trustees for the
   1-11  Alief Independent School District, Mr. Petrosky, through his
   1-12  service, rightly earned the distinction of having an elementary
   1-13  school named in his honor; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Besides nurturing her three daughters, Mrs. Petrosky
   1-15  likewise showed her desire to lead and shape young lives through
   1-16  her involvement in parent-teacher organizations, an activity that
   1-17  she continues today with her grandchildren; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Willard, Beanie, their daughter Joanne and her
   1-19  husband, Jim; their daughter Jeannie, her husband, Doug, and their
   1-20  child, Christopher; and their daughter Mary Lois, her husband,
   1-21  Jeff, and their children, Lee, Blake, and Melissa, will be gathered
   1-22  with friends and well-wishers at an anniversary celebration on
   1-23  Sunday, March 12, 1995, to accept the congratulations and thanks to
    2-1  which they are so thoroughly due; now, therefore, be it
    2-2        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-3  Legislature take a moment to extend its hearty congratulations and
    2-4  salute the loving relationship that constitutes the foundation of
    2-5  this wonderful family; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-7  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Petrosky and presented to them as a token
    2-8  of esteem from the Texas House of Representatives.
