                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  Bob Madeja for the many significant contributions he has made to
    1-3  his community as a home builder; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, For 15 years, Mr. Madeja has played an integral role
    1-5  in the development of housing opportunities throughout Fort Worth
    1-6  and Tarrant County as a builder with Mesa Homes; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Well regarded throughout his chosen profession, he
    1-8  has gone on to positively affect local housing issues as an
    1-9  esteemed member of the Builders Association of Fort Worth and
   1-10  Tarrant County; he has served the organization in a number of
   1-11  leadership capacities and is currently serving as president, having
   1-12  previously chaired the community's popular Kaleidoscope of Homes;
   1-13  and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Mr. Madeja recently was honored for his many
   1-15  outstanding contributions to the association when the group named
   1-16  him Builder of the Year for 1994; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, He is making an indelible mark on housing issues
   1-18  across the state and nation as a valued member of both the Texas
   1-19  Association of Builders and the National Association of Builders
   1-20  and has offered wise and thoughtful guidance to each group as a
   1-21  member of their boards of directors; and
   1-22        WHEREAS, Over the years, Mr. Madeja has demonstrated a deep
   1-23  and abiding commitment to the Tarrant County community, and he has
   1-24  generously given of his time, talents, and resources to the benefit
    2-1  of the Fort Worth Breakfast Tips Club; and
    2-2        WHEREAS, Throughout his many endeavors, he has enjoyed the
    2-3  love and support of his gracious wife, Kathy, and the couple's two
    2-4  fine daughters, Rachel and Kimberly; and
    2-5        WHEREAS, A man of boundless energy, he has brought
    2-6  outstanding leadership, dedication, enthusiasm, and a "can-do"
    2-7  attitude to the local, state, and national levels of the building
    2-8  industry, and he is most deserving of our special praise and
    2-9  recognition; now, therefore, be it
   2-10        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   2-11  Legislature hereby honor Bob Madeja for the many significant
   2-12  contributions he has made to the Fort Worth community as a home
   2-13  builder and wish him continued success in all his future endeavors;
   2-14  and, be it further
   2-15        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   2-16  prepared for Mr. Madeja as an expression of high regard by the
   2-17  Texas House of Representatives.
