                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, On April 28, 1995, the Texas Department of
    1-2  Transportation will designate Orange County Airport as the 1995
    1-3  Airport of the Year in recognition of the outstanding service it
    1-4  provides to Texas residents each day as they embark on personal and
    1-5  business travel; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The officers and employees of Orange County Airport
    1-7  have worked tirelessly to maintain an exceptional safety record
    1-8  that is a model for county airports throughout the state, and the
    1-9  airport's engineers have consistently gone above and beyond the
   1-10  call of duty to ensure that the facility's sponsors are given the
   1-11  very highest level of technical and design-related support; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, In addition to providing travelers with exemplary
   1-13  customer service, the staff at Orange County Airport has set new
   1-14  standards in efficiency, hospitality, and cleanliness, and staff
   1-15  members' efforts have won the acclaim of tourists, businesspeople,
   1-16  and airline professionals alike; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Local government, property owners, airline
   1-18  companies, and travel service providers have joined together in the
   1-19  spirit of true cooperation to create one of the finest air travel
   1-20  facilities in the State of Texas, and the many impressive
   1-21  achievements of Orange County Airport's managers, board members,
   1-22  and employees are indeed worthy of special legislative recognition
   1-23  and praise; now, therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby congratulate the managers, board members, and
    2-2  employees of Orange County Airport on their facility's designation
    2-3  as the 1995 Texas Airport of the Year and commend them on their
    2-4  continuing commitment to excellence; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for prominent display at Orange County Airport as an
    2-7  expression of high regard from the Texas House of Representatives.
