                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
    1-2  offer congratulations to Denton County Judge Jeff Moseley and his
    1-3  wife Jackie on the adoption of their second beautiful baby girl,
    1-4  Jenni Li Moseley; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
    1-6  personality, this charming little girl has indeed brightened the
    1-7  lives of everyone around her, and she is a tremendous source of
    1-8  pride and joy to her family and many new admirers; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Jenni Li is the second child that the Moseleys have
   1-10  adopted from the People's Republic of China, and the great distance
   1-11  they traveled to bring her home is a testament to the dedication
   1-12  and love that they have to offer as parents; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Moseley will be capably assisted in
   1-14  caring for their new arrival by Jenni Li's older sister, Joi Mei
   1-15  Ling Moseley, who was officially welcomed to the Lone Star State by
   1-16  the Senate of the 73rd Texas Legislature; the elder Miss Moseley
   1-17  will undoubtedly take great pride and delight in sharing her
   1-18  worldly wisdom with her younger sister and guiding her through the
   1-19  many challenges of life; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Moseley have
   1-21  been privileged to share their jubilation and excitement as they
   1-22  have opened their hearts and their home to two such lovely and
   1-23  promising young ladies; and
   1-24        WHEREAS, It is now fitting that the members of this chamber
    2-1  extend a warm welcome to Jenni Li Moseley, formerly of the People's
    2-2  Republic of China, and recognize her as a truly treasured citizen
    2-3  of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
    2-4        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-5  Legislature hereby extend warmest best wishes for success and
    2-6  happiness to Honorary Texans Joi Mei Ling Moseley and Jenni Li
    2-7  Moseley and express hearty congratulations to Jeff and Jackie
    2-8  Moseley on this joyous occasion; and, be it further
    2-9        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   2-10  prepared for the Moseley family as an expression of high regard by
   2-11  the Texas House of Representatives.
