H.R. No. 881 R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Michelle Kay Timmons, at the 1-2 age of 24, and her son, Hunter Trey Timmons, at the age of 21 1-3 months, on June 12, 1994, has brought a great loss to the many 1-4 friends and relatives of these two fine Texans; and 1-5 WHEREAS, The daughter of James and Glenda Spriggs, 1-6 Mrs. Timmons was born June 24, 1969, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and 1-7 completed her education in Texas, earning a diploma from Alpine 1-8 High School before continuing her studies at Sul Ross State 1-9 University; and 1-10 WHEREAS, A warm and gracious lady, she wed Tony Timmons, and 1-11 the happy couple enjoyed a deeply fulfilling union that was blessed 1-12 by the birth of their cherished son, Hunter Trey, on August 16, 1-13 1992; and 1-14 WHEREAS, These fine young Texans were fondly regarded 1-15 throughout the Valentine community for their devotion to one 1-16 another and to their extended families, and their warm and caring 1-17 demeanor brought great joy and happiness into the lives of their 1-18 many friends and neighbors as well; and 1-19 WHEREAS, The qualities that endeared them to so many emanated 1-20 from a deep and abiding religious faith, which Mrs. Timmons 1-21 eloquently expressed as a member of the First Baptist Church; and 1-22 WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share the love and 1-23 friendship of Michelle and Hunter will long miss their presence; 1-24 though their lives have been cut tragically short, their unique 2-1 spirits will surely live on in the hearts of those whose lives they 2-2 touched; now, therefore, be it 2-3 RESOLVED, That the Texas House of Representatives, 74th 2-4 Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the lives of Michelle Kay 2-5 Timmons and Hunter Trey Timmons and extend heartfelt sympathy to 2-6 the members of their family: Tony Timmons, James and Glenda 2-7 Spriggs, Buz and Darla Timmons, Debra Spriggs, Clay Timmons, Gary 2-8 Spriggs, Lila Cooley, Millard and Cleona Spriggs, Roy and Norma 2-9 Timmons, and Darlene Wilson; and to their many other friends and 2-10 relatives; and, be it further 2-11 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-12 prepared for the members of their family and that when the Texas 2-13 House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of 2-14 Michelle Kay Timmons and Hunter Trey Timmons.
