                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  Bethania Regional Health Care Center for the outstanding service it
    1-3  provides to the Wichita Falls community and congratulates the
    1-4  center on its receipt of "accreditation with commendation" from the
    1-5  Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, This prestigious status is the highest accreditation
    1-7  awarded by the joint commission, and it signifies the center's
    1-8  exemplary performance in meeting and exceeding national standards
    1-9  set for the industry; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, The country's oldest and largest accrediting body,
   1-11  the joint commission was formed in 1951 to improve the quality of
   1-12  our nation's health care organizations through voluntary
   1-13  accreditation; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Deeply committed to patient care, Bethania Regional
   1-15  Health Care Center received its accreditation after a comprehensive
   1-16  on-site survey from January 16 through 18, 1995; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, The facility could not have achieved the success
   1-18  that it enjoys today were it not for its dedicated employees and
   1-19  medical staff, who consistently strive to provide the best possible
   1-20  health care for their patients; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, Bethania Regional Health Care Center plays a vital
   1-22  role in the health and well-being of countless West Texans, and it
   1-23  gives the members of this chamber great pleasure to honor the
   1-24  center on the occasion of its recent accreditation; now, therefore,
    2-1  be it
    2-2        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-3  Legislature hereby honor Bethania Regional Health Care Center for
    2-4  its outstanding service to the people of Wichita Falls and
    2-5  congratulate the center on its receipt of "accreditation with
    2-6  commendation" from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
    2-7  Healthcare Organizations; and, be it further
    2-8        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-9  prepared for Bethania Regional Health Care Center as an expression
   2-10  of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
