                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
    1-2  offer congratulations to Wade and Yvonne Barton on the recent birth
    1-3  of their beautiful baby boy, Luke Robert Barton; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Luke Robert weighed in at seven pounds, 13 ounces,
    1-5  and measured 20-1/2 inches in length when he was born at 10:59 p.m.
    1-6  on May 8, 1995, at St.  David's Hospital in Austin; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
    1-8  personality, this charming little boy has indeed brightened the
    1-9  lives of everyone around him, and he is a tremendous source of
   1-10  pride and joy to his family and many new admirers; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Barton will be capably assisted in
   1-12  caring for their new arrival by Luke Robert's older brother,
   1-13  three-year-old Adam Barton; the elder Mr. Barton will undoubtedly
   1-14  take great pride and delight in sharing his worldly wisdom with his
   1-15  younger brother and guiding him through the many challenges of
   1-16  life; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Barton have
   1-18  been privileged to share their jubilation and excitement as they
   1-19  have welcomed two such special little boys into their family; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, It is now fitting that the members of this chamber
   1-21  extend a warm welcome to Luke Robert Barton and recognize him as a
   1-22  truly treasured citizen of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be
   1-23  it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby officially welcome Luke Robert Barton as a new
    2-2  citizen of Texas and express hearty congratulations to Wade and
    2-3  Yvonne Barton on this joyous occasion; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-5  prepared for the Barton family as an expression of high regard by
    2-6  the Texas House of Representatives.
