                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The wedding anniversary of two outstanding Texans
    1-2  who have shared 50 happy and rewarding years of marriage is truly a
    1-3  memorable occasion worthy of special recognition; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, James and Betsy Inabnet will have the privilege of
    1-5  commemorating such a momentous event in their lives when they mark
    1-6  their golden wedding anniversary on October 21, 1995, with gala
    1-7  celebrations in Mrs. Inabnet's hometown of Williamsburg, Virginia,
    1-8  and in Evant, Texas, where the couple has resided for more than 45
    1-9  years; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, The Inabnets both enjoyed distinguished careers with
   1-11  the United States Post Office in Evant, and after their retirement,
   1-12  they began their second careers as craftsmen and entrepreneurs;
   1-13  Mr. Inabnet makes handcrafted furniture, while his lovely and
   1-14  gracious wife works with arts and crafts; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, They are the proud parents of two daughters, Lou and
   1-16  Normarie, and over the years, their close-knit family has grown to
   1-17  include five grandchildren, Holli, Heather, Jacob, Robert, and
   1-18  Chris; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Built on a foundation of mutual love, trust, and
   1-20  support, their life together has been a source of joy and
   1-21  inspiration to their family and many friends, and they are indeed
   1-22  deserving of special recognition on this joyous occasion; now,
   1-23  therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby congratulate James and Betsy Inabnet on the
    2-2  occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them
    2-3  warmest best wishes for their continued happiness; and, be it
    2-4  further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Inabnet as an expression of high regard
    2-7  by the Texas House of Representatives.
