By Hudson H.R. No. 1116 74R14143 PAN-F R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, Christmas came a little early this year for one very 1-2 special young couple, for on December 19, 1994, Samuel W. Hudson IV 1-3 and Stacey Hodge Hudson welcomed their first child into the world, 1-4 a beautiful baby daughter, whom they named Lora Danielle Hudson; 1-5 and 1-6 WHEREAS, The granddaughter of our esteemed colleague, State 1-7 Representative Samuel W. Hudson III, the charming Miss Hudson was 1-8 born in Long Beach, California, but with distinguished Texas 1-9 lineage as the youngest in a long line of accomplished Texans; and 1-10 WHEREAS, Lora Danielle weighed 6 pounds 15-1/2 ounces and 1-11 measured 19 inches in length when she made her debut possessing the 1-12 smile and beauty of her mother, the eyes and intelligence of her 1-13 father, the strong-willed nature of her grandmother, and the 1-14 determination of her grandfather, and her long-awaited arrival has 1-15 brought great joy into the lives of her parents as well as to the 1-16 other members of her close-knit family back home in Texas; and 1-17 WHEREAS, Though her parents are currently residing in 1-18 California, Miss Hudson should not be precluded from claiming her 1-19 rightful Texas heritage for, blessed with the loving support of her 1-20 family and many new admirers, Lora Danielle can indeed look forward 1-21 to a bright and promising future; now, therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas 1-23 Legislature hereby congratulate Samuel and Stacey Hudson IV on the 1-24 birth of their lovely baby girl and officially recognize Lora 2-1 Danielle Hudson as an honorary citizen of the Lone Star State of 2-2 Texas with all the rights and privileges appertaining to such 2-3 citizenship; and, be it further 2-4 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-5 prepared for Lora and her parents as official documentation of 2-6 honorary Texas citizenship by the Texas House of Representatives.
