                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  Eric Browning of Garland on his achievement in being named a
    1-3  recipient of the "O'Banion's Best" award; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, O'Banion Middle School annually honors its four
    1-5  finest all-around students with this award, the highest honor the
    1-6  school can bestow, and by attaining this distinction Mr. Browning
    1-7  has achieved a truly remarkable feat; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, A member of the eighth grade class at O'Banion
    1-9  Middle School, this inspirational young Texan devotes his energies
   1-10  to a variety of worthy pursuits, including serving as a member of
   1-11  the student council and as manager for many of the school's
   1-12  athletics teams; this year he also was instrumental in the
   1-13  installation of the school's new computers and computer furniture;
   1-14  and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Mr. Browning is a source of great pride to his
   1-16  parents, DeAnne and Joe Driver and Christi and Tommy Browning; to
   1-17  his sister, Linsey Browning; to his grandparents, Reba and Tommy
   1-18  Tomlinson, Elizabeth and Marshall Driver, and Tom and Geneva
   1-19  Browning; and to his great-grandmothers, Faye Browning and Liddie
   1-20  Smith; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, This exemplary student has demonstrated exceptional
   1-22  dedication and commitment in the pursuit of his goals and it is
   1-23  indeed fitting that he be given special legislative recognition on
   1-24  the occasion of his receipt of this prestigious honor; now,
    2-1  therefore, be it
    2-2        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
    2-3  Legislature hereby congratulate Eric Browning on winning the
    2-4  "O'Banion's Best" award and extend to this fine young man best
    2-5  wishes for continued success in the future; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-7  prepared for Mr. Browning as an expression of high regard by the
    2-8  Texas House of Representatives.
