                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Flatonia High School baseball team has achieved
    1-2  the pinnacle of success by winning the 1993 University
    1-3  Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 1A state championship; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Possessing true championship heart, the Flatonia
    1-5  High School team performed at the highest possible level in every
    1-6  facet of the game in overcoming Ponder High School 2-1 to claim the
    1-7  coveted crown; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, These exemplary young men have been a tremendous
    1-9  source of pride to the students and faculty at Flatonia High School
   1-10  as well as to their many supporters in the community, and their
   1-11  remarkable achievements are truly worthy of special legislative
   1-12  recognition; now, therefore, be it
   1-13        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-14  Legislature hereby congratulate the Flatonia High School baseball
   1-15  team on winning the 1993 UIL Class 1A state championship and extend
   1-16  to the team best wishes for continued success in all future
   1-17  endeavors; and, be it further
   1-18        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   1-19  prepared for the team members and coaching staff and that a copy be
   1-20  prepared for prominent display at Flatonia High School as an
   1-21  expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
