H.R. No. 1158
                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  Michael Atys DaSilva for his scholastic endeavors and congratulate
    1-3  him on his graduation from Westlake High School on June 2, 1995;
    1-4  and
    1-5        WHEREAS, A well-rounded student, Mr. DaSilva has earned
    1-6  renown for his outstanding prowess as a member of the school's
    1-7  basketball team, his thoughtful and considerate nature, and his
    1-8  deep and abiding commitment to his faith; throughout his years in
    1-9  high school, this warm and caring young man, who is fondly known as
   1-10  "Kiko," has enjoyed the love and support of his family, which
   1-11  includes his parents, Joe and Kay DaSilva, his brother, Jon, and
   1-12  his grandparents; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mr. DaSilva has demonstrated exceptional dedication,
   1-14  initiative, and maturity in successfully pursuing his academic and
   1-15  athletic goals, and he is indeed deserving of special legislative
   1-16  recognition for his achievements; now, therefore, be it
   1-17        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-18  Legislature hereby congratulate Michael Atys DaSilva on the
   1-19  occasion of his graduation from Westlake High School and extend to
   1-20  him warmest best wishes for continued success and happiness in all
   1-21  his future endeavors; and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   1-23  prepared for Mr. DaSilva as an expression of high regard by the
   1-24  Texas House of Representatives.
