                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Angelo Dear is truly an outstanding Texan who has
    1-2  contributed greatly to the betterment of his community and state,
    1-3  and he is indeed deserving of special praise and recognition; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, A native of Fort Worth, Mr. Dear answered his
    1-5  country's call to arms during World War II, proudly serving in the
    1-6  U.S. Marine Corps from 1942 to 1945; upon his return to civilian
    1-7  life, he continued to work in behalf of his fellow Texans as a
    1-8  member of the Fort Worth Junior Chamber of Commerce and as a member
    1-9  and past president of the Joshua School Board; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, He married Bobbie Toal on May 23, 1942, and their
   1-11  marriage was blessed with two sons, James and Timothy; in recent
   1-12  years, their loving family has grown to include three cherished
   1-13  grandchildren, James Dear, Jr., Taylor Dear, and Carly Dear; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, In serving his family, his community, and his
   1-15  nation, Angelo Dear has embodied the ideals of integrity and honor
   1-16  that Texans hold preeminent, and in doing so, he has earned the
   1-17  respect and admiration of all who know him; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-19  Legislature hereby honor Angelo Dear for his many contributions to
   1-20  the Lone Star State and extend warmest best wishes to him for
   1-21  continued happiness; and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   1-23  prepared for Mr. Dear as an expression of highest regard by the
   1-24  Texas House of Representatives.
