                                 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
                                        AN ACT
    1-1  relating to the county courts at law of Collin County.
    1-2        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
    1-3        SECTION 1.  Section 25.0451, Government Code, is amended to
    1-4  read as follows:
    1-5        Sec. 25.0451.  Collin County.  Collin County has the
    1-6  following statutory county courts:
    1-7              (1)  County Court at Law No. 1 of Collin County;
    1-8              (2)  County Court at Law No. 2 of Collin County; <and>
    1-9              (3)  County Court at Law No. 3 of Collin County; and
   1-10              (4)  County Court at Law No. 4 of Collin County.
   1-11        SECTION 2.  Section 25.0452, Government Code, is amended by
   1-12  adding Subsection (a) to read as follows:
   1-13        (a)  In addition to the jurisdiction provided by Section
   1-14  25.0003 and other law, a county court at law in Collin County has
   1-15  the probate jurisdiction provided by Section 25.0021 for statutory
   1-16  probate courts.
   1-17        SECTION 3.  Notwithstanding Subdivision (4), Section 25.0451,
   1-18  Government Code, as added by this Act, the County Court at Law No.
   1-19  4 of Collin County is created October 1, 1995, or on an earlier
   1-20  date determined by the commissioners court by an order entered in
   1-21  its minutes.
   1-22        SECTION 4.  This Act takes effect September 1, 1995.
   1-23        SECTION 5.  The importance of this legislation and the
   1-24  crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
    2-1  emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
    2-2  constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
    2-3  days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
