A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
1-1 relating to the definition of a liquefied natural gas system.
1-2 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-3 SECTION 1. Subdivision (7), Section 116.001, Natural
1-4 Resources Code, is amended to read as follows:
1-5 (7) "LNG system" means a system of safety devices,
1-6 containers, piping, fittings, valves, compressors, regulators,
1-7 gauges, relief devices, vents, installation fixtures, and other LNG
1-8 equipment intended for use or used with a motor vehicle fueled by
1-9 liquefied natural gas and any system or other facilities designed
1-10 to be used or used in the <liquefaction,> sale, storage,
1-11 transportation for delivery, or distribution of liquefied natural
1-12 gas.
1-13 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1995.
1-14 SECTION 3. The importance of this legislation and the
1-15 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
1-16 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-17 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-18 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
