No. 11 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is widely acclaimed 1-2 and esteemed for its success in developing leadership and in 1-3 nurturing good citizenship and patriotism in young men; and 1-4 WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is sponsoring a 1-5 legislative seminar to educate its members in the process of 1-6 democratic government, both in theory and in practice; and 1-7 WHEREAS, This valuable and comprehensive educational program 1-8 will attract participants from throughout the state to acquaint 1-9 DeMolay members with legislative procedures; and 1-10 WHEREAS, The DeMolay legislative seminar is to be held in 1-11 Austin on February 18 and 19, 1995, and February 17 and 18, 1996; 1-12 and 1-13 WHEREAS, The Texas Legislature heartily endorses the goals 1-14 and ideals of the Texas DeMolay Association legislative seminar; 1-15 now, therefore, be it 1-16 RESOLVED by the 74th Texas Legislature, That, in accordance 1-17 with senate and house rules of procedure and policies of the Senate 1-18 Administration Committee and House Administration Committee, the 1-19 Texas DeMolay Association be hereby granted permission to use the 1-20 chambers of the senate and house of representatives in the State 1-21 Capitol on February 18 and 19, 1995, and February 17 and 18, 1996, 1-22 for its legislative seminar, unless the Texas Senate and House of 1-23 Representatives are in session on those dates.
