    1-7                        SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
    1-8  proposing a constitutional amendment allowing investment of money
    1-9  from the Texas growth fund in a business without the business's
   1-10  disclosure of its investments in or with South Africa or Namibia.
   1-11        BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
   1-12        SECTION 1.  Article XVI, Section 70(r), of the Texas
   1-13  Constitution is repealed.
   1-14        SECTION 2.  This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
   1-15  submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 7, 1995.
   1-16  The ballot shall be printed to provide for voting for or against
   1-17  the proposition:  "The constitutional amendment allowing investment
   1-18  of money from the Texas growth fund in a business without the
   1-19  business's disclosure of its investments in or with South Africa or
   1-20  Namibia."
