1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to recognize
1-3 Burl H. Anderson on the auspicious occasion of his retirement from
1-4 the Comptroller of Public Accounts office after 30 years of
1-5 outstanding service; and
1-6 WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson has worked in Computer Operations
1-7 throughout his long career; renowned for his diligence and
1-8 efficiency, he has won the respect and admiration of his colleagues
1-9 during this time; and
1-10 WHEREAS, A lover of classical music and collector of
1-11 oriental antiques, Mr. Anderson also plans an itinerary and travels
1-12 extensively in Europe each year; and
1-13 WHEREAS, The State of Texas has benefitted enormously from his
1-14 wisdom and expertise; now, therefore, be it
1-15 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 74th Legislature,
1-16 hereby commend and applaud Burl H. Anderson for his meritorious
1-17 service to the state comptroller's office and extend sincere
1-18 appreciation to him; and, be it further
1-19 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
1-20 as an expression of the great regard of the Texas Senate with best
1-21 wishes for a rich and rewarding retirement.
