1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-3 promise, Brian Timothy Moore of Troop 273 advanced through the
1-4 ranks of Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes
1-5 before recently attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1-6 WHEREAS, In receiving the coveted Eagle Badge, this fine
1-7 young man becomes one of the privileged few who ever achieve
1-8 this distinguished honor; and
1-9 WHEREAS, In conducting a service project which allowed
1-10 him to exercise his leadership abilities, Brian completed the
1-11 requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout and at the same time
1-12 benefitted his community; and
1-13 WHEREAS, This personable young man brings great honor to
1-14 himself, his family, and his troop in joining the elite corps
1-15 of Eagles; and
1-16 WHEREAS, Brian Moore is truly a shining example to his
1-17 troop and indeed all citizens of Texas; now, therefore, be it
1-18 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-19 74th Legislature, hereby commend Brian Timothy Moore on his
1-20 outstanding achievement; and, be it further
1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
1-22 Eagle Scout Moore as an expression of admiration from the
1-23 Texas Senate.
