No. 102 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 In Memory 1-3 of 1-4 Rhea Eldon Bradley 1-5 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens 1-6 of Littlefield in mourning the loss of Rhea Eldon Bradley who died 1-7 January 12, 1995; and 1-8 WHEREAS, He was born June 5, 1929, in Lubbock; he graduated 1-9 from Lubbock High School and from Texas Tech University with a 1-10 degree in civil engineering; and 1-11 WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Mr. Bradley was an active member 1-12 of the First United Methodist Church and a member of its Wesley 1-13 Fellowship Class; and 1-14 WHEREAS, A diligent and dedicated employee, he worked for 1-15 the Texas Department of Transportation until his retirement in 1-16 September, 1993; and 1-17 WHEREAS, First and foremost a loving family man, Mr. Bradley 1-18 married Elaine Johnson on September 17, 1991; he was a devoted 1-19 husband and father who was proud of the accomplishments of his 1-20 children and grandchildren; and 1-21 WHEREAS, His wise counsel and good judgment will be missed 1-22 and remembered with gratitude by those who knew him; now, 1-23 therefore, be it 2-1 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-2 74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the 2-3 members of his family: his wife, Elaine; his son, Brady; 2-4 his daughter, Crista Beth; his stepson, Mark Blessing; his 2-5 stepdaughters, Melinda Rose and Amy Johnson; and his two 2-6 stepgrandchildren; and, be it further 2-7 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-8 the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy 2-9 from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, 2-10 it do so in memory of Rhea Eldon Bradley. 2-11 ______________________________________ 2-12 President of the Senate 2-13 I hereby certify that the above 2-14 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-15 on January 30, 1995, by a rising vote. 2-16 ______________________________________ 2-17 Secretary of the Senate 2-18 ______________________________________ 2-19 Member, Texas Senate
