No. 104 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 In Memory 1-3 of 1-4 Doug Hargrave 1-5 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens 1-6 of Lubbock in mourning the untimely loss of Doug Hargrave who died 1-7 January 12, 1995, at the age of 28; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Born March 14, 1966, in Lubbock, Doug Hargrave 1-9 graduated from Frenship High School; and 1-10 WHEREAS, He was a dedicated employee of the Texas Department 1-11 of Criminal Justice for three years; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Respected in the community for his talents and 1-13 accomplishments, Doug Hargrave was an exemplary gentleman who gave 1-14 willingly of his time to help others; and 1-15 WHEREAS, He was a young man of integrity, strength, and 1-16 generosity who will long be remembered for his friendly nature and 1-17 his warm sense of humor; and 1-18 WHEREAS, Doug Hargrave lived his life to the fullest, and 1-19 he leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by his 1-20 family and many friends; now, therefore, be it 1-21 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-22 74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the 1-23 bereaved family of Doug Hargrave: his parents, F. C. "Butch" 2-1 and Gloria Hargrave; his sister, Kim Seymour; and his grandparents, 2-2 Mrs. W. E.
