No. 107 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great pride 1-3 in recognizing Mary Helen Israel who is retiring after 29 years of 1-4 loyal service with Dow Chemical Company and 12 years of service 1-5 with Dow Pipeline Interplant Operations; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Mrs. Israel joined Dow Chemical Company in 1957 when 1-7 she began working in the Texas Operations Research and Development 1-8 Department; she later worked in the Maintenance Department and in 1-9 the U.S. Area Health and Environmental Services Department; she 1-10 joined Dow Pipeline Interplant Operations in 1983; and 1-11 WHEREAS, During her years with Dow Chemical Company, Mrs. Israel 1-12 handled her responsibilities with exceptional skill and dedication; 1-13 and 1-14 WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful employee, Mary Helen Israel 1-15 made many worthy contributions to Dow Chemical Company; and 1-16 WHEREAS, An exemplary individual with an engaging personality, 1-17 Mrs. Israel is beloved by her colleagues at work, and her presence 1-18 at Dow Pipeline Interplant Operations will be greatly missed; now, 1-19 therefore, be it 1-20 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-21 74th Legislature, hereby commend Mary Helen Israel for her many 1-22 years of distinguished service with Dow Chemical Company and extend 1-23 to her best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further 2-1 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her 2-2 as a token of regard from the Texas Senate. 2-3 ______________________________________ 2-4 President of the Senate 2-5 I hereby certify that the above 2-6 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-7 on January 30, 1995. 2-8 ______________________________________ 2-9 Secretary of the Senate 2-10 ______________________________________ 2-11 Member, Texas Senate
