    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Peggy Wood and Joe Rabb placed great faith and
    1-3  trust in the future when they married on December 25, 1944, and
    1-4  they have been amply rewarded as they recently celebrated their
    1-5  golden wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
    1-7  years of their marriage, yet Mr. and Mrs. Rabb have steadfastly
    1-8  embraced traditional family and moral values; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their
   1-10  love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and
   1-11  sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rabb have been blessed with
   1-13  a wonderful family; their children, Joel and Beth Rabb,
   1-14  Clinton Rabb, Robert and Tina Rabb, and Della R. and Steve Ging,
   1-15  and their 10 grandchildren have been a source of much pride and
   1-16  joy; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rabb shared their happiness with
   1-18  their family and friends at a dinner hosted by their children
   1-19  on December 26, 1994, at the Holiday Inn; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Rabb
   1-21  is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
    2-1  Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rabb on their 50th wedding anniversary; and,
    2-2  be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-4  this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
    2-5  their lives.
