    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in
    1-3  recognizing Rafael Salinas who has been selected as the City of
    1-4  Navasota's 1994 Public Works Department Employee of the Year; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Rafael Salinas is well known for his outstanding
    1-6  service as a warehouseman in the purchasing department where he
    1-7  has worked for the past seven years; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, An exemplary and dedicated employee, Mr. Salinas
    1-9  is noted for his friendly, outgoing personality and his enthusiasm
   1-10  for his work; he has been an employee of the City of Navasota for
   1-11  11 years; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. Salinas received a plaque and a gift in tribute
   1-13  to his many years of loyalty and hard work and his exceptional
   1-14  job performance; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, The Navasota community has greatly benefitted from
   1-16  the efforts and generous spirit of this accomplished employee; now,
   1-17  therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  74th Legislature, hereby commend Rafael Salinas for his invaluable
   1-20  contributions to the City of Navasota and extend to him best wishes
   1-21  for the future; and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
   1-23  as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
