     1-10     Legislature, hereby request that the Congress of the United States
     1-11     report to the Texas Legislature all the states which choose to opt
     1-12     out of interstate branch banking before June 1, 1997; and, be it
     1-13     further
     1-14           RESOLVED, That the Texas Secretary of State forward official
     1-15     copies of this resolution to the Speaker of the House of
     1-16     Representatives of the United States Congress, to the President of
     1-17     the Senate of the United States Congress, and to all members of the
     1-18     Texas delegation to the congress, with the request that this
     1-19     resolution be officially entered in the Congressional Record of the
     1-20     Congress of the United States.
