    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                            David Sepmoree
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
    1-6  of Crockett in mourning the loss of David Sepmoree who died
    1-7  January 23, 1995, at the age of 65; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Born September 1, 1929, David Sepmoree was a lifetime
    1-9  Houston County resident; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Mr. Sepmoree was dedicated to his work at the
   1-11  Houston County Credit Bureau; he was retired from Entex Corporation
   1-12  where he had been employed for 35 years; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, An exemplary and distinguished gentleman,
   1-14  Mr. Sepmoree was respected for his many accomplishments; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, A well-known community leader, he was a member of
   1-16  the Crockett Noon Lions Club and the Crockett Lothrop Lodge 21
   1-17  AF & AM; he was also a longtime member of the Crockett Volunteer
   1-18  Fire Department where he served as fire chief for several years;
   1-19  and
   1-20        WHEREAS, A man of integrity, strength, and generosity, he
   1-21  gave unselfishly of his time to others, and his wisdom, warmth,
   1-22  and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him;
   1-23  and
    2-1        WHEREAS, A devout Christian, he was a member of the First
    2-2  Baptist Church; and
    2-3        WHEREAS, David Sepmoree was a devoted husband, father, and
    2-4  grandfather, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
    2-5  forever by his family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
    2-6        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-7  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
    2-8  family of David Sepmoree:  his wife, Jean Sepmoree; his daughter
    2-9  and son-in-law, Becky Sepmoree Keller and Stephen Keller; his son,
   2-10  John David Sepmoree; his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Sepmoree
   2-11  and Pam Sepmoree; his mother and stepfather, Opal Sepmoree Craven
   2-12  and Delton Craven; his brothers, John Sepmoree and James Sepmoree;
   2-13  his sister, Lois Burns; and his seven grandchildren and
   2-14  great-grandson; and, be it further
   2-15        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
   2-16  members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
   2-17  Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so
   2-18  in memory of David Sepmoree.
