    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is a splendid occasion
    1-3  and calls for much celebration; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gaston of Edgewood, Texas,
    1-5  have reason to rejoice; since their marriage on January 27, 1945,
    1-6  in Emory, Marjorie and Robert have spent 50 years together in
    1-7  loyalty and devotion; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The family and friends of this beloved couple
    1-9  joined them on January 28, 1995, at a surprise anniversary party
   1-10  to congratulate them and share in their warmth and joy; the event
   1-11  was hosted by their friends; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, The loving respect Marjorie and Robert share with
   1-13  one another is evident to all who are fortunate enough to know
   1-14  them; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, This happy couple has been blessed with a wonderful
   1-16  family; their two daughters have been the source of much pride and
   1-17  joy; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  74th Legislature, hereby join the relatives and friends of
   1-20  Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gaston in extending them best wishes and
   1-21  congratulations  on their golden wedding anniversary; and, be
   1-22  it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
    2-1  distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
