    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is a splendid occasion
    1-3  and calls for much celebration; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. August Feldman of Marlin, Texas, have
    1-5  reason to rejoice; since their marriage in 1945, Vera and Sonny
    1-6  have spent 50 years together in loyalty and devotion; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, The family and friends of this beloved couple joined
    1-8  them on January 14, 1995, to congratulate them and share in their
    1-9  warmth and joy; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, The loving respect Vera and Sonny share with one
   1-11  another is evident to all who are fortunate enough to know them;
   1-12  and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Feldman have spent most of their lives
   1-14  in Marlin and both retired from the Owens Illinois Glass Plant
   1-15  in 1982; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, This happy couple has been blessed with a wonderful
   1-17  family:  their children, Donald Feldman and Cynthia Bowser; and
   1-18  their three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; now,
   1-19  therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  74th Legislature, hereby join the relatives and friends of
   1-22  Mr. and Mrs. August Feldman in extending them best wishes and
   1-23  congratulations on their golden wedding anniversary; and, be it
    2-1  further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
    2-3  distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
