1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, A 65th wedding anniversary is a splendid occasion
1-3 and calls for much celebration; and
1-4 WHEREAS, William R. and Rema Jewel Jameson have reason to
1-5 rejoice; since their marriage on January 6, 1930, they have spent
1-6 65 years together in love and devotion; and
1-7 WHEREAS, The family and friends of this beloved couple
1-8 joined them on January 8, 1995, at a reception held at Marlin
1-9 United Methodist Church to congratulate them and share in their
1-10 warmth and joy; the event was hosted by their grandchildren; and
1-11 WHEREAS, The loving respect Bill and Rema share with one
1-12 another is evident to all who are fortunate enough to know them;
1-13 and
1-14 WHEREAS, This happy couple has been blessed with a wonderful
1-15 family; their children and their grandchildren have been the source
1-16 of much pride and joy; now, therefore, be it
1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-18 74th Legislature, hereby join the relatives and many friends of
1-19 Mr. and Mrs. William R. Jameson in extending to them best wishes
1-20 and congratulations on their 65th wedding anniversary; and, be it
1-21 further
1-22 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
1-23 distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
