    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Dr. Curtis Torno for his three and 1/2 years of
    1-4  outstanding medical service in Marlin at Falls Community Hospital
    1-5  and Clinic; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Devoted to the community and to his profession,
    1-7  Dr. Torno has dedicated his life to providing superior health
    1-8  care, and he has been a major contributor to the revitalization
    1-9  of the Falls Community Hospital and Clinic; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, During his tenure, many improvements were made at
   1-11  the hospital which now boasts effective monitoring units, CAT scan,
   1-12  and ultrasound; in the last year, the hospital averaged over 2,000
   1-13  patient visits a month; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Due to his wisdom, expertise, and concern for others,
   1-15  Dr. Torno has been a positive influence in the lives of innumerable
   1-16  Falls County citizens; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, The Falls County community has greatly benefitted
   1-18  from the dedication and generous spirit of this talented physician;
   1-19  now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  74th Legislature, hereby commend Dr. Curtis Torno for his invaluable
   1-22  contributions to Falls County and extend to him best wishes for the
   1-23  retirement years ahead; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
    2-2  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
