    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
    1-3  commend Dale Hoffman for receiving the Georgetown Chamber of
    1-4  Commerce's Honor Roll Award; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Honor Roll Award recognizes a local resident who
    1-6  has displayed outstanding community service; the list of activities
    1-7  in which Mr. Hoffman is quietly involved is quite lengthy; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, This remarkable gentleman is always willing to give
    1-9  of his time and talents to worthy causes; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, The general manager for Williamson County
   1-11  Cablevision, Mr. Hoffman is a graduate of the Leadership Georgetown
   1-12  program and has served on the board of the Georgetown Youth Baseball
   1-13  Association; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A man with deep religious convictions, he is a
   1-15  Sunday school teacher and a member of the board of trustees of his
   1-16  church; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, He has served as ambassador to the chamber of
   1-18  commerce and has twice filled the position of president of the
   1-19  Noon Lions Club, which he now serves as treasurer; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown and Williamson County are
   1-21  truly fortunate to count Dale Hoffman as one of its most dedicated
   1-22  civic leaders; now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-1  74th Legislature, hereby congratulate Dale Hoffman on his selection
    2-2  as recipient of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce's Honor Roll
    2-3  Award; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
    2-5  as an expression of highest esteem from the Texas Senate.
