    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is honored to
    1-3  welcome to the State Capitol the following representatives
    1-4  from Mexico of the American Council of Young Political Leaders,
    1-5  a nonprofit, bipartisan educational exchange organization:
    1-6  Nohelia Linares de Gonzalez, Osvelia Arellano de Lopez,
    1-7  Fred Alvarez de Palafox, Jose Aamauri Cuauhtemoc de Garcia,
    1-8  Enrique Esquivel de Fernandez, Jose Espina de Von Roehrich,
    1-9  Jose Salvador Guerrero de Chipres, Rafael Lagos de Inoriza,
   1-10  Rafael Montesinos de Carrera, and Carlo Ivan Rivera de Cruz; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Citizens of our neighbor to the South, this
   1-12  illustrious delegation of ladies and gentlemen from Mexico is
   1-13  here to observe the inner workings of our state government; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, While visiting the Lone Star State, our visitors
   1-15  will enjoy our unique Texas cuisine and music; and when they
   1-16  return home they can regale their family and friends with tales
   1-17  of line dancing and eating "Tex-Mex"; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, It is hoped that their visit here will further
   1-19  strengthen the bonds of friendship and good will that exist
   1-20  between Texas and Mexico; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  74th Legislature, extend best wishes for a most memorable journey
   1-23  through the State of Texas to our distinguished visitors; and, be
    2-1  it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared
    2-3  for each member of this eminent delegation as an expression of
    2-4  warmest welcome from the Texas Senate.
