    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                           Clyde Lois Tucker
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
    1-6  of Lubbock in mourning the death of Clyde Lois Tucker who died
    1-7  March 2, 1995, at the age of 86; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Born on March 11, 1908, in Coleman, he married
    1-9  Ora Howard on October 1, 1932, and they enjoyed a happy home life
   1-10  with their two children; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, A man of deep religious conviction, he lived his
   1-12  faith in his daily life and was a member of the Church of Christ;
   1-13  and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Mr. Tucker enjoyed making music and was a member of
   1-15  the Possum Twisters band; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, He was a retired oil field worker and barber; a
   1-17  man of integrity, strength, and compassion, Clyde Tucker gave
   1-18  unselfishly of his time to others; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, His wisdom, warmth, and valued counsel will not
   1-20  be forgotten by those who knew him; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to
   1-23  the members of his family:  his wife, Ora Tucker; his son,
    2-1  Dr. Howard Clyde Tucker; his daughter, E. Lois Tucker Swindle;
    2-2  and his three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and, be
    2-3  it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for his
    2-5  family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate,
    2-6  and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
    2-7  Clyde Lois Tucker.
