    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                           Wynelle Kilcrease
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the family
    1-6  and many friends of Wynelle Kilcrease in mourning her death on
    1-7  February 21, 1995, at the age of 66; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, She was born on March 29, 1928, in Slaton, Texas;
    1-9  she graduated from Roosevelt High School and Texas Tech University
   1-10  with a degree in elementary education; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Wynelle Alspaugh married Frank Kilcrease in Lubbock
   1-12  on July 18, 1953, and together they made a home and raised a family;
   1-13  and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Devoted to educating young people, she taught school
   1-15  in Germany and preschool at Saint Luke's United Methodist Church
   1-16  School and Dupree Elementary School in Lubbock; she retired from
   1-17  teaching in 1984; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, A devout Christian, she belonged to Saint Luke's
   1-19  United Methodist Church in Lubbock, where she was a vacation Bible
   1-20  school teacher and a member of the John Wesley Sunday School class;
   1-21  and
   1-22        WHEREAS, Her community will miss Wynelle Kilcrease keenly;
   1-23  her wisdom and experience were invaluable to those who knew and
    2-1  worked with her throughout the years; and
    2-2        WHEREAS, She leaves a legacy of compassion and commitment
    2-3  that will be remembered by her family and loved ones; now,
    2-4  therefore, be it
    2-5        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-6  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
    2-7  members of her family:  her husband, Frank Kilcrease; her
    2-8  daughters, Mary Jane Kabaci and Lou Ann Ritter; her mother,
    2-9  Myrtle Alspaugh; her brothers, Bill Alspaugh and Don Alspaugh;
   2-10  and her three grandchildren; and, be it further
   2-11        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   2-12  the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy
   2-13  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day,
   2-14  it do so in memory of Wynelle Kilcrease.
